Teacher's Day Celebration

Teachers' Day in India is celebrated on 5th September every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan - First Vice President of India and the Second President of India and an educationist at heart. While globally, Teachers’ Day is celebrated on 5th October; in India, we celebrate it on 5th September from 1962 onwards. Teaching is the most influential job in the world. Teachers are known to shape the mind of youth and without knowledge no one can exist in this world. Teacher imparts good value in children and turns them into responsible citizens. So, almost every country celebrates Teacher's Day. As a part of celebration students of B.Pharm, and M.Pharm were involved in teaching program on the same day in theory and practical classes. Ms. Richa Patel was principal on that day. The celebration was start with prayer at 9:00 am at open garden of building. After that students started their respective theory and practical classes up to 1:30 pm. Students had arranged felicitation cum entertainment program for teachers and students after 2:00 pm onwards. Dr. R K Patel sir gave inspirational speech to students on occasion of teacher’s day. He also explained importance of teachers in student life.
